Bible Reading - 10/25/2014
Jeremiah 20, 35-36
Colossians 4

Looking Ahead - 10/25/2014
Saturday OT reading Jeremiah 20, 35, 36 NT reading Colossians 4 LA Read Mark 9:36-37 "And he took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them, 'Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.'" Jesus' disciples were very concerned with greatness "who is the greatest". Jesus reminded them (and us) that true greatness comes from humility and servitude. Jesus used a precious child as an object less - serve the least, minister to those no one else cares about and you are ministering to Jesus Himself!
